Privacy Policy

Your privacy on EnviroRiders

The short version: this is an information site. We collect as little as possible, we don’t sell your data, and the only time you actively give us anything is if you choose to email us through the contact form.

Who we are

EnviroRiders is a publication of Khattak Digital Media, a business registered in Australia. We publish plain-English guides to the law on electric bikes and scooters at enviroriders.com. For any privacy question, please use our contact page — it reaches us directly.

What we collect

Only two kinds of information, and one of them is entirely up to you:

  • What you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you choose to provide. That’s delivered to us by email through a third-party form service (Web3Forms). We use it solely to read and respond to your message.
  • Basic technical logs. Like almost every website, our host records standard server information such as IP address, browser type and the pages visited. This is used to keep the site running securely and is not used to identify you personally.

Cookies

We aim to keep cookies to a minimum. Our own site uses only what’s needed to function and, if enabled, to remember your cookie choices. Any non-essential cookies are only set with your consent through the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw consent at any time.

Third-party services we rely on

  • Web3Forms — processes contact-form submissions and delivers them to us by email. Your message passes through their systems; see Web3Forms’ own privacy policy for how they handle it.
  • Our web hosting provider — stores the site and its server logs.

We don’t sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.

How long we keep things

We keep contact-form emails only as long as needed to deal with your message and any follow-up, then delete them. Server logs are kept for a limited period by our host for security and maintenance.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of any personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. To make a request, use our contact page and we’ll respond within a reasonable time. If you’re in the EU/UK you also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority; in Australia, to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Children

This site is a general information resource and isn’t directed at children. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be reflected clearly on this page.
